This is a pretty obscure movie, but an awesome account of a maniacal (works 90 hr weeks) constructor from New Zealand. A true story about how a guy builds a super bike in his garage out of carbon and all homemade parts. Then kicks ass all around the world with it in the early 90’s. A documentary really, you get to see him and his hot wife as they deal with crazy Kiwi racing zealots making some of the greatest racing magic ever.
A must see for any dreamer.
I didn’t know that ‘the world according to garp’ had been made into a movie- but i just finished reading the book and can highly recommend it.
