I’m I alone who keep hitting my ankles on my kris holm cranks (rolling disk) doing tricks?? I always land my tricks on the crank and it hit my ankle pretty hard. IT HURT!!! Do you know if I would have the same problem with koxx-one 135 street cranks or 130 addict street cranks?? I want to be able to do rolling tricks and flips tricks with the same cranks and stop hitting my ankle.
?!?!IM I ALONE!?!?
Personally I find that rollos get in the way more than the nubs on the k1 street cranks.
However Rollos are removable…
When I tried my friend uni with rollos I was hitting my ankles without doing tricks…
i literally had this problem 2 days ago. I was working on street and flat at the same time… Did one 3 spin and cracked my ankle on the disks… Now i practice street and flat separately…
But my feel are so large i pretty much need the rollos for flat… so ya…
“it” meaning getting your feet out of the way, not the pain.
I am used to it and i always have my feet out of the way, but every once in a while I get knicked by the rollo on my left ankle. I have a really sensitive bruise/scrape that keeps on getting hit, and it hurts so much! :o
The best way to avoid that is to avoid rollos, but they are so good for flat its hard to pass up.
someone with koxx-one cranks can tell me if u guys hurt ur ankle on cranks?? I want new cranks, “addict 130 or koxx 135” to avoid this problem!
If the KH cranks are hurting your ankles without rollo disks equipped…
I have Koxx 135s. I used to hit my ankles on them (it was really bad, I opened up the same cut about 8 times), but it kinda stopped over the last 4 monthes. One solution to avoid ankle injuries is wearing mid top or high top shoes, they protect your ankles enough so that you won’t bleed when they get hit (Example: TheseNike Mids). I’m back to low tops and have had no problems.
As far as Addict Cranks go, Bobousse is the only person I know who has a pair…
hmmm the part of the ankle I hit is already on the shoes (more the foot then the ankle) for exemple: the left side of my right foot
