I’m leaning toward to Mad4one frame, but I would most certainly appreciate any information regarding the pros and cons of the above listed frame models. Has Florian made any announcements as to which frames will be compatible with his disk brake hub or is it safe to assume that all the disk brake capable frames will work with his hub?

Definitely most of the frames (including the mad4one) won’t fit without modification. A the M-series hubs were developed with Kris Holm, KH-Frames were always the only ones fitting on the hub out of the box. You can read more on this topic here:

Schlumpf hubs produced again

As far as I know, KH frames were and probably are the only ones that work plug and play with the generation 4 hubs (stop blocks). All others need modifications. I’m not sure how the geometry on Nimbus frames looks like, but Mad4one and QX require modifications. to fit a Schlumpf hub into a QX-Series frame, you need to make some serious modifications: Maybe RGB frames fit better, but i doubt they are plug and play without any modification.

Most frames (except KH) do not fit this measurements:

The generation M5 hubs may have some additional requirements but i guess, these measurement shown in the picture will remain the same.
What it takes to modify a QX-Frame is decribed in the linked thread. For the mad4one frame, there’s @muni_ben who comes to my mind first who has done the modification.
