Icons OF unicycling disciplines

When I first saw the discussion thread headline “Icons for unicycling disciplines“ I had incorrectly assumed that it was going to be a post about the icons of our sport, broken into categories based on the particular unicycling discipline(s) the rider excelled at, such as muni, trials, freestyle, etc. Since it wasn’t about that at all, I have created this post in order to compile a (hopefully) comprehensive list of the innovators, heroes, and true icons of our sport, based on category. Please include (1) the category or categories (which could be the standard categories, a newer category such as “coasting”, or even something like “world record holder”, or “distance rider”, etc.) this rider is being recommended for, the country the rider is from, and any other information (or links) about the rider that you feel are relevant. If someone suggests a rider for one particular category, that person can still be suggested by someone else for another category, if they think the rider deserves it. The list in this thread should really showcase the cream of the crop, so if we all stick to that standard, it probably isn’t likely to become exceedingly long. If a significant majority of respondents to a suggested rider don’t agree with the post creator’s choice, perhaps that person’s selection should be rejected and removed from the list, if possible. I will start this list off with my choice below:

Category: Street (20”, 24”, 26” 32” and 36”)

Rider: Cedric Vincent

Country: Switzerland

YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/c/CédricVin/featured

This guy is incredible! In my opinion, he has truly earned his spot as an icon of street unicycling, and probably other disciplines, but I’ll leave it up to the community to suggest him for other categories.

Mimo Seedler has to make the list. He’s a 2x Street Champ. He rides skateparks and street spots. I am not personally informed of the who’s who of unicycles, but this guy makes the list.

May I suggest another category? Influencer/Content Creator. To this category, I will nominate one of my favorite YouTube uni channels: World of Unicycles. This is the channel of a fine young man named Alex who posts entertaining, wholesome videos.

I’d like to offer one more favorite YouTube channel to the category of Content Creators: Hobo Dan. This guy’s channel is great for when you want to make yourself feel bad that you aren’t trying hard enough.

Category: Commute
Name: Richard Terry
Country: Prolly USA

He‘s certainly not one of the usual suspects, and by tomorrow I will probably have forgotten his name again. But I won‘t ever forget the picture of him commuting in snowy weather - in my view it‘s a truly iconic picture.
And I also like that he stands for many other unicyclists who use their unis simply as a means of transportation; a normal guy who became an everyday hero.

EDIT: Never heard of Cédric Vincent, but that guy has indeed some serious skills! Doesn’t seem to be a fan of those tiny 20ers that everyone else uses for such stunts. One of my favourite parts (that would indeed be superhuman to do on a 20") starts at 3:38:

Oh, wait, that white stuff isn‘t even snow!? That‘s a bit disappointing.
