I’m 14 and I love unicycling and I just broke my unicycle and I want to get a really nice one under $200 but I can change the price if needed I want one I can do tricks on
What’s broken about your unicycle?
What is your unicycle?
Picture would be helpful
It’s kind of impossible to get a new good quality unicycle for $200.
The Nimbus II is good, but it’s $330 at least.
You could get a mini M4O Muni, but with shipping to US total would be ~$300
Your best bet is to create a trading post thread looking for one
If you’re OK with buying a used one, I’ll move your topic to the Trading Post. Where are you located?
You also might be able to fix your old one
With this beautiful picture I drew you can see the that it isn’t straight up it bent down when I was trying to grind and it’s super uncomfortable to ride
And I would prefer a new one
I would fix your old one with a new seat post so you have something to ride while you search the used market.
Come on folks somebody out there should have a uni for this lad.
Thanks
Fixing it is always the best first attempt. I have a 1963 Lyod 20” (The precursor to the Schwinn unicycle design) that I have had since it was new. I refurnbished it just 4 years ago and its like brand new again! 74 and still on it.
You can absolutely find sweet unicycles on facebook marketplace and craigslist for $200 or less. Even if they’re listed for more, the market for unicycles is so small most sellers are going to be amenable to a lower/lowball offer. I’ve seen ISIS crank’d nimbus unicycles for $50 several times.
Here’s a great deal on a Mad4One freestyle uni (I have this same uni and its great):
Fix the one you have and save up for a new one.
Either get a new seatpost, or bend the seatpost you have back towards a usable angle. (Steel seatposts will survive that a few times.)
The mini Muni is not a uni to do tricks on. I’d look towards one of those URC urban pro or impact sylphs, those should have everything for someone interested in Street/flat. Certainly not under <200$, but that is something they could use without wanting an upgrade for quite a while.
