I shot a man in Reno just to watch him die.

Anyone see “Walk the line” (the johnny cash movie)? I saw it on Sunday and thought it was really good. It really makes you want to go home and listen to some Cash records.

I saw it last weekend. The performances were terrific and the music is great. I think it explored his crappy relationship with his crappy father very well. His drug and alcohol problems very well. And the dissolution of his first marriage very well. But the question I really wanted some insight into, namely what made him such a man of the people, was only superficially touched on.

Damn movie may make me have to go and pick up a book.

I hope I’m not next.

But honestly, this holiday season is full of good movies, Harry Potter4, RENT, and Walk the Line.

its full of some decent movies, but theres no real christmas movies. whats up with that? i wanna see the one with the dude that was fat in high school but gets skinny when hes older. looks funny.

i wanted to go see that today but we got too tired from the turkey so i was just wondering is there any sex or anything that will make it really awkward to watch with my mom?

I think that might be best explained by “the people.” If you were one of “the people,” it would be obvious.

 Dave, I think you’ve gone too far now.

Billy

Why did he name his boy Sue?

Billy, you are welcome. Now book your plane ticket to Reno like you said you would in the private message you sent to me.

P.S. - THIS IS MY 1000TH POST!!!

Dave,

Tickets booked. Box up and bring your Coker, and we’ll have some real fun, Johnny Cash style…

Billy

It doesn’t come out here until Feb I think. It’s so sad! I really want to see it!

And he said: “Son, this world is rough
And if a man’s gonna make it, he’s gotta be tough
And I knew I wouldn’t be there to help ya along.
So I give ya that name and I said goodbye
I knew you’d have to get tough or die
And it’s the name that helped to make you strong.”

MY NAME IS SUE!
HOW DO YOU DO?!
NOW YOU GONNA DIE!

He didn’t…Shel Silverstein did.

And go here for an amusing sequel to the tale…
