I need your Lascos, help!

Recently I made a trip to Daytona Beach for Spring Break. I got to do a little bit of riding there but unfortunately my Lasco cranks stripped out at the pedal. I rushed to a near-by hardware store and bought some JB Weld Quik. That didn’t work (partially because I was intoxicated.) When I returned home I tried to use Quick Steel to fix them, that failed also. I’m wondering if anyone has a spare pair of these:

that they could ship me? I just need something to ride on since I can’t order my Profile cranks + hub until April 5th.
Thanks.

Papper Rout, maybe? Waiting tables pays fairly well- of coarse, they don’t considerately leave cranks on the table but those funny round things and crumpled green slips of papper…

You might also consider forgoing the portion of your budget set asside for alchohol, and redirect it to cycle maintanance.

My bad- you must have ment this figueritively; I just noticed that your user profiles listed your birthdate as August 15th, 1983.

John B is sending me a spare of Lascos that he has laying around. They’re 150mm so I can decide weither I want to go with 145s or 150s for my Profile cranks. Thanks.

I don’t think they’re Lascos… They’re whatever steel cheapos that came
on my 26" Semcycle XL, but they ought to hold you over. Only 1/4" longer
than a 145, though, so I doubt the difference will be all that noticeable,
except that they might scrape more easily when you turn.

Re: Re: RE: I need your Lascos, help!

That’s wierd- In my above quote, it associated John Drummond with AccordNSX’s quote… err… anyway… read the posts from the top and reassociate the the quote about intoxication. I was needling AccordNSX about indicating that he was drunk when under age… no, John is not 20 years old…

Re: I need your Lascos, help!

thought i would give the glitch a go

These 150s are extremely long and noticeable. :frowning:
But I sold a car motor and made a good chunk of spare change to put into some Profiles.

?yes ,but free none the less!!

is’nt 145mm,the smallest Profile makes??
