This is while cycling. One of the officers who showed up wanted to put me under psychiatric observation because I refused to admit I was injured. I him told I rode a unicycle and was used to going down on the pavement hard. That and firemen who had already checked me out managed to calm him down.

Without knowing any details of your incident - physics will always have the right of way. Stay alert and safe out there. Glad you are ok and hope you take that training wheel off soon and return to the #OneTrueRide.

So sorry to hear about that and glad that you’re ok! I also had a collision with a vehicle 13-14 years ago and broke my collarbone. This was in my BU (before unicycling) days. To this day, I prefer to stick to trails and stay as far away from all those distracted drivers out there whether I’m on one wheel or two.

Quite a few years ago now, I spent 3 weeks riding my 36er from Lands End to John O Groats (South of England to North of Scotland). Had a few slightly dicy moments but made it the whole way on the road safely. Then the day after I got home from the trip, I walked across a road and got hit by a car; sods law!
