Uhhh my god.
There was a television commercial some time back along the same lines. The guy sitting in front of his computer reached the end of the Internet with a screen similiar to any of those.
When he eventually walked into the living room where his wife was reading a book, she asked, “I thought you were surfing the net?”
To which he responded, “Yeah, but I finished it.”
I don’t remember what was being advertised but I thought the commercial’s storyline was pretty good.

Here’s another similar line. Houghton is Houghton, Michigan in the Upper Peninsula, home of Michigan Tech University.
The story goes that two MTU students created the sign and placed it along the roadway as a joke. Turns out that pictures of the sign became so popular that the two guys took a semester off to promote the sign through post cards and other things. Evidently they made quite a bit of money through the venture.
