I have yet to do anything with that particular hub and bearings, but recently I was doing a bit of maintenance on my 20er (ISIS) and saw that one of the bearings isn’t moving quite as well as it should. It defininitely isn’t dead and unrevivable, but it does probably need a tune up. I suppose I should get some bearing grease?
The general idea: Gently pry off the rubber seal using a dental pick or fine knife, wash the bearing in a solvent like brake cleaner, and dry thoroughly. Pack the raceway roughly 25-50% full with high-quality bearing grease, then carefully press the seal back into its groove.

Yesterday I went to Harbor Freight and got these to remove my bearings. And yes, it worked, I managed to remove the bearings, clean them, and put them back on my hub. But it was not easy. While it did the job, it took a long time to figure out what placement it needed, and even then a while to get it under the bearings. Thank you for telling me about this, but I personally would not recommend this to anyone else looking for a good bearing puller.
I’m sorry to hear you struggled with these but I can assure you they work perfectly as intended.
