Homemade Camelbak dryer

I made this from a plastic coat hanger. Cut it with a saw then sanded the rough edges. It works really well. I remove the bite valve and store it in a small mesh bag while the bladder is drying. I hang the mesh bag from the hook on the hanger.

Very clever. I like that.

After using mine I drain it out and put in a slosh of hydrogen peroxide and a little bit of water and run some out the tube. I just leave it like that until I use it next and then I rinse it out. I have never had mold or anything grow and hydrogen peroxide rinses out without leaving any residue or taste behind.

i rarely use mine, but once i get my new muni this summer i will use it all the time

i will try the hanger, but filling it up and putting it in the fridge sounds nice, speccially cause it will be hot and summer and i like cold water in the hot summer
