I take it the S18 is newer than the S16 Pro, which I have, but the S18 is slightly cheaper and it doesn’t have those leg supports you can stick to the sides. It feels very stable when my legs are sorta stuck on the EUC.

People who can ride a regular unicycle can usually more or less ride an EUC right away it seems. (A little shaky at first, but they can do it
However learning a EUC first doesn’t help much at all learning to ride a unicycle..maybe it helps a little bit with the turning once you can actually manage pedaling, but zero help with getting on and pedaling.
I learned the EUC first, and i think it was about 3 hrs of practice to get comfortable on it, then it just clicked and made me wonder why it seemed hard in the first place.
