Greetings!

Hi All

I’m a newcome member in this list. My name is Eduardo and I’m from Bauru -
SP - Brazil. I’m a HPV homebuilder and I’m new to the unicycling world
too…

I’ve built my own unicycle, a no-weld unicycle, 20" rimmed.

Eduardo-

Welcome to the newsgroup.

I see the wooden recumbent project. You mention being kidded about the weight of a wooden bicycle. How much did the finished project weigh? Was it more than a metal framed recumbent?

How about the unicycle project? I see no photos of the unicycle. Is it wood as well?

Re: Greetings!

Hi Harper!

About the wooden recumbent’s weight, I don’t measure the weight yet. I need
to do it. I’ve made new photos of the bicycle and next week it will be ready
at the site. Stay tuned!

About my unicycle, it isn’t wooden made. I’ve made it with a BMX fork wich
I’ve sawed the dropouts. The unicycle almost ready, I meet a unicycling
factory here in Brazil ( http://www.monociclo.com.br/ - standards and
giraffes)… They sold me a seat and my unicycle is ready now.

I’ve adapted a front bicycle hub to work locked to the axle (an 5/8" - 1020
steel piece…). Two 6202 bearings (double shielded), and I’ve fixed the
bearings to the fork with water pipe clamps. It isn’t a Semcycle, but I’m
learning to ride it!

P.S.: I’ll put the monocycle project in my webpage when I’m riding…
