Greetings from Germany

Moin, my name is Ronja, I’m living near Dresden and I’m just finishing school this year. I startet unicycling one year ago. I tried several sports, skateboarding, wave boarding… but it never felt right for me. So I decided to try something completely different and not so common: A unicycle for my 17th birthday. My family was like: Okay… let’s see… My friends were like: Okay, we knew you’re special sometimes but this special? And you know what? It was exactly my sport. Inefficient comparing to my outdoor activities cycling and hiking, but much more fun! So much that I was looking for my 29 inch unicycle with brakes and got it two months ago on my 18th birthday. Now I try light trails and fail a lot but knee pads saved my knees several times.

My dream is to go unipacking one day.

Btw, if you see a unicyclist for example on the Elbe Cycle Path towards Saxon Switzerland it could be me
I’m trying to ride longer distances right now. Don’t hesitate to contact me, I’m communicative

If you’re round about my age, interested in going unicycling on weekends, maybe living near my home… Feel free to write me

Welcome to the forum!
In case you didn’t already know, it’s best to lower the seat a bit for riding offroad or bumpy trails. It feels a bit less like the uni constantly trying to throw you off.

Hi, and welcome to the forum. If you are interested in participating in unicycling events, you can keep an eye on https://einradsachsen.com/ or subscribe to the Einrad Sachsen | WhatsApp Channel. Today, for example, we participated in a nice 10 km race in Freiberg, which isn’t that far from Dresden. Are you already in contact with the unicyclers around the Dresden unicycle hockey teams Dresdner Einradtiger and Dresdner Einradlöwen? Some of them also like road an muni riding.

I saw someone standing at the S-Bahn stop in Wehlen with a mountain unicycle while I was passing by on my recumbent bike a few weeks ago. I was going too fast to react in time but I think the train was about to arrive, too…

I mainly go into the Heide with my unicycle but don’t manage to do so quite often…

Have fun!

In case it happened in the middle of july, that could have been me ‘cause I reached the station and the train came in under three minutes

I’m a bit afraid of going in the Heide. I’m still struggeling with more difficult terrain and I also haven’t the time to unicycle at the moment…
