Yo! My name is Rube and i just started unicycling earlier this month. I picked up 2 unicycles to learn on, a 20" Torker and a classic 24" Schwinn. Hoping to get into Muni and freestyle once I get my chops up. My ultimate goal is to pick up trash around my hood without having to dismount. I live in Baltimore MD and would love to link up with other riders in the area. Cheers!

I congratulate your altruistic motivation, and wish you great success. I would go so far as to predict that, when you succeed in learning to ride, and are known to be the uni guy who cleans things up, you will be joined by others. Especially kids, who might view the activity as novel fun!

Welcome! I live in Fells Point and ride a 36 and 29. There’s a few uni riders around, some of us ride in the Baltimore Bike Party on the last Friday of each month. Lmk if you need some uni pointers.
Right on! definitely working my way up to the bike party. My endurance is still very weak so it might be a while before I can join the ranks. Good to know there are some local uni riders though. Cheers!
