Here i come atlantic ocean.
Nice One. It seems to only work with the Atlantic. ie Vancouver to Moscow is okay, but not Vancouver to Tokyo.
Yeah I tried Ottawa to Seoul and no dice
I remeber someone posting in the funny pictures thread that it also works with the Channel.
EDIT: just tried it and it takes you to the docks at dover, but the ferry route does go stright through the harbour wall. Maybe it only works on french google earth. Also some genius has marked the white cliffs of dover approx. 2 miles out to sea.
Yeah someone showed me this a few days ago. Despite having directions from Barrow, AK to NYC and NYC to Paris, directions from Barrow to Paris are unavailable.
This little internet phenomon has grown incredibly over the past week.
It is probably the fastest thing to spread over the internet I have ever seen.
I had seen this before…it’s pretty great.
um picture please or link?
Here you go my friend. http://maps.google.com.au/ and just type in New york to london and scroll down to #24.
anybody got a 24" duro boomerang? Sounds like a nice uni ride
Yeah It’s been everywere… and it’s not even that funny.
This thing started like 2 months ago, maybe a little bit less. It was funny the first time, but after hearing all my friends say “dude type this in and look at step #24” it got kinda old.
It may be old by now for those who follow all the latest internet fads. But it’s still a cool easter egg.
It would be especially fun for the team that gets to program in easter eggs like that.
