good gliding tire

It may be time I get a new tire for 20" cycle (currently using a 20x1.75
kenda of some kind). I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations on
good replacements. I want something that will be as gliding friendly as
possible. Any recommendations?

I’m still only working on one foot riding, but I have a list of 20" tires
on my tire page at http://torontounicyclists.tripod.com/tire.htm. I’m
currently using an IRC Flatlander, 20x1.95, rated up to 90 psi, and I
like it a lot.

The Maxx Daddy at 20x2.25" is the widest tire I can find to date. Their
site has a nice photo.

Primo, the Wall is a great freestyle tire, and it comes in white (for
indoor riding), red, blue and black. It comes in 1.85" and 2.1" sizes

Dyno Fireball has a 20" tire as well. I don’t know how good they are, but
the 24"X3" works pretty well for Kris. You can get them from Dan’s Comp.

I use an IRC Flatlander too, but I have a Snafu Rimjob (130 psi) tyre on
another unicycle and that is brilliant for gliding but is quite heavy.

Primo Wall tyres are good alternatives if you need a white indoor tyre.

That Snafu RimJob 20" looks like a bad ass tire. The tread looks awesome.
I’ve added the tire to my tire page.

When I pump up my IRC Flatlander to 80 psi it’s so hard it hurts my butt.
What psi do you pump up your RimJob and does it feel like you’re sitting
on concrete?

Maybe I need an air seat conversion or more padding in the butt area?

Don.

I don’t usually pump my tyres up much above 50 psi - I get more grip that
way. If you put in over 100psi it makes the unicycle VERY twitchy.

N.B. I think some Rims might not appreciate 130psi mine’s on a BMX jump
rim (Alex FAT)
