I know what that can be like. After getting the winning bid for my Schwinn
Giraffe on E-Bay, it took almost two weeks for the seller to figure how to put
in a box and ship it. I was riding it by the time the brown truck was rolling
off the driveway. (or trying to)

I know so well what you mean! My new Monty Trials Conversion arrived via UPS on
Friday (thanks John D!). Of course, I had been tracking it’s progress across the
country so when it arrived I knew immediately. I left work on a lame pretense
and quickly drove home. Sure enough, it was out on the front door step. Fifteen
minutes later it was picture perfect (red&white miyata saddle, red alloy odyssey
super twist pedals, black Euro cranks and that gorgeous 2.5 inflated to 32psi)
and I got my first taste of hopping with total abandon (no creak, creak, creak,
cringe). Hopped about on it for about 15 minutes, promoted it to my “always in
the trunk Uni” (replacing my standard 20"), and sped back to work content with
the knowledge that it was just out in the trunk. The Monty rules!!!
Think I’ve got a monkey on my back! (uni #7 and no end in sight)
