I am not sure if this was already posted, but I was at the Los Angeles Bike Expo today and commented to the Nokian saleman to confirm that the 24" Gazz was discontinued. He responds and says, “Well, actually, it has been put back into production.” Man, was I surprised. He said that the news is about two weeks old.
I told em that all us unicyclists were lamenting its loss. He got a kick out of that comment. He knew that John Drummond had bought about 300 of them. Who knows, maybe that saved the Gazz from early pasture. Last year, they didn’t sell more than 500, so they axed it. But this year, they have all
ready exceeded that number.
that is really great news.
(search your feelings luke you know it be true) but if not i hope you got that sales reps.name so we can unicycle over to his/hers house!i think its so cool that,Nokian says there stopping production and uni.com buys 300 the next day.THATS POWER!
Brilliant news Munieer! You got yourself a real scoop there. Big thanks should go to both Sources for buying up the world stock and saving this great chunk of rubber from oblivion

Hmm, maybe oblivion has been postponed but not warded of indefinitely.
With so much stock in the Sources, chances are that sales by Gazzalodi
will sink to record lows for the rest of the year or longer. Not
exactly encouraging…

LOL
When I heard about the death of the 24" Gazz I bought three extra tires. I probably won’t need to buy a new 24" Gazz for a couple of years. At least now I can ride the Gazz on pavement without feeling realy guilty for wearing the tread down too quickly.
But the sales of the 24" Gazz shouldn’t dry out completely. The DH bike folks wear through tires at an amazing rate. They have ability to rip the lugs off a Gazz due to heavy breaking. A unicycle cannot abuse or wear out a tire as fast as they do. As long as the DH bike folks don’t discover that they can buy Gazz tires at unicycle.com I think Nokian will still be getting new orders.
The return of the 24" Gazz is indeed very good news. I’m a happy camper again.
