I can’t remember exactly where, but I read on here recently that some prefer hubs with closer flange placing, so that the spokes aren’t in the way so much for grinding. I thought another answer would be to use a front bmx hub guard, such as the G-Sport GLAND. I’ve searched, with very little mention of bmx hub-guards, only really that a bmx hub-guard may be too thick to fit between the spokes and frame of unicycles. Has anyone tried one? Does anyone use one?
