George Peck’s riding in North Bend two years ago inspired me to make an
ultimate wheel and learn to ride it. However, George was riding a unicycle
wheel–not a disk–and riding my UW didn’t seem to transfer much to that.
So riding a wheel with cranks is my current goal. I want to be riding by
Christmas.
I’m using my Monty wheel for practice. I spent about 90 minutes this
morning, and made some meager but measurable progress. I’m hooked. Is
anyone else working on this skill?
