I need a 36H 100mm hub with 42mm bearings, Splined/ISIS. It would also be great if it comes with cranks, but not necessary.
Koxx Hub 100mm and 42 mm Bearings with 140 mm Cranks.
Conditions: New
100 Euro plus Shipping
I ride the same Hub and Cranks on my Trial Unicycle and ther’re great. I love them.
If ManiusTerentiusPullus isn‘t interested, I‘d gladly buy them.
How much would shipping to Alexandria Virginia be? I don’t care how long it takes to get here, so please look at the cheapest shipping rate.
Also what is the weight?
And it is 36H, right?
The insured Shipping and Tracking are 26,50 Euro.
Total amound: 126,50 Euro.
The Weight from the Hub: 0,65 KG
The Weight from the Cranks: 0,6 KG
Yes, it’s a 36 Hole Hub, with Bearings, Spacer and Bolt for the Cranks.
What are you building?
Before committing for a Koxx hub, search for Koxx ISIS compatibility issue.
As far as I remember (and I had to pull notes from a wiki I wrote), it was the L.i.g.h.t. version of the hub that was slightly bigger ISIS interface where the revised Light was okay. But no clue about the renforced version ![]()
However, with the current ISIS cranks situation, there would be no issue with the Qu-ax aluminum cranks (as they can deform to adapt) and the Kris Holm are no longer sold. I cannot comment for the Nimbus VCX but even if it were an off-spec case, if @ManiusTerentiusPullus is doing a build on the cheap and is okay with the cranks length included, it is still a win (parts should enjoy the world and all the mud/rain/dust/grass/… they could ![]()
There’s a lightweight version of the hub. I ride it on my 36” frame but the bearings have an inner diameter of 25mm. 0,28 KG without bearings, Spacer and bolt for the Cranks. But I love the Koxx Hubs and Cranks. Nothing damange.
That’s why the question. If @ManiusTerentiusPullus builds a trial with 140mm, the offer is good.
He doesn’t have to build a trials unicycle. I bought the exact same Koxx hub and cranks setup from @Felgenbremse to use when building my Large Marge 24” fattie, and it worked wonderfully.
I also have another 24” unicycle with a Koxx hub and Impact cranks.
I a building a 24" Muni.
Yes. Trials is an example. 140mm cranks are a bit on a longer side, but should be fine for MUni.
I built a 24” “Frankenstein“ MUni from all the different spare part laying around in the garage last year. My used wire bead MTB tire failed, and I put a new 2.4” BMX tire. Surprisingly, the uni became my kid’s favorite ride for street and flat.
When I built the purple fat unicycle, I was hoping for a 24” Trials experience. As it turns out, I treat the unicycle more like a 26”, and do less hopping on the unicycle than I thought I would. And, I now realize that 140mm cranks may be my favorite crank length.
Due to my dad making me put the wheel I was going to use for building back on the bike, I will make a 26" instead.
I am getting a URC Muni M, as the S is out of stock, so I will just get 26" Muni parts.
The hub and cranks arrived today. They seem nice and lightweight, and I am happy with them.
