Foot-Pedal Position

Is the correct position for the foot on a unicycle where the ball is on the pedal?

I am learning to ride and seem to have trouble. I start out with the pedals basically horizontally but I seem to get trapped (go no more) when the revolution goes around to where the pedals are vertical. I see to stop and lose the unicycle.

Is this an experienc or awareness thing?

Derek

When I was learning to ride, I had that problem at first; it turned out
my seat was too high. Don’t know if its a posibility in your case, but if
so, have someone whatch you (attempt to ride) and tell you how extended
your leg is when the pedal is vertical. I found that I couldn’t keep
pedaling if my leg was fully extended; my knee had to be slightly bent.
Hope that helps.

Ah. . .

That could be a problem. A local Cokerhead helped me to adjust the seat. But that was before I logged anytime in the saddle. :astonished:
