How about this: Playing a Bass on a 6 footer! See

Steve Rosse’ is (according to an article in the Sydney Morning Herald, 25th
February 1998) a top tuba player for the Sydney Symphony Orchestra. He used to
be a professional clown, and performs a party trick of playing Rimsky Korsakov’s
Flight of the Bumblebee, while riding a unicycle.

So let’s see. I’ve seen the piano accordion. I’ve played the recorder, and the
battery-operated toy violin. Here’s a tuba player. What other musical
instruments have been played on a unicycle?

Well, you can add the bagpipes to that list.

On several occassions I have paraded on my uni playing the pipes. I have used
both Scottish Highland pipes and the Galician version. The Galician pipes are
easier, because the instrument sits on your shoulder, instread of leaning on it,
but the Scottish version looked better, especially with the kilt over the seat!

I’m about to go home and play my piano while hovering, and maybe i’ll throw in a
few other percussion instruments. Our juggling club is actually slowly working
on a grand finale piece which will have a guy on a giraffe unicycle passing to
somebody who is on a shoulder stand, while a fourth person kneels below the base
of the shoulder stand, and does the fingerwork for a clarinet whilst the base
blows! Maybe we should get a fifth person in to do the fingerwork for the
unicyclist!

Nic. Happy cause i’m going to Tassie juggling festival tonight

Oh, it’s an electric bass. How disappointing.

this is not something i’ve tried recently and i believe this particular event
took place in the early 80-s

things not to do…

-idling on uni -in the house -while playing the trombone

the result: one broken light fixture that was hanging from the ceiling. i hit it
with the end of my t-bone slide when i was rocking. mom was not amused.

my punishment: no more practicing in the house. so i set my t-bone down and kept
riding. mom was quick to clarify what she meant.
