How long are those cranks?
Seems to be at least 150mm/6"!

That may be too long for learning, hitting your pedals in the ground all the time…

cranks are 165…i don’t know for sure

sentlovrenc, you have inspired me to want to make my own unicycle. But first i would need the parts :frowning:

just go to the nearest junkyard and you will probably get all the things that you need…

One big tip, your seatpost looks like it was made from smooth metal. That’s going to twist all over the place! The first chance you get, change it for a diamonded one… Also, get a cotterless hub/cranks!, you won’t regret it… I’ll also be making my own unicycle quite soon, but I think I’ll be going unipsycho style

Oh darn, I was going to attempt a one side framed uni but from that picture it looks like its been done :frowning:

Re: finally!!! my own uni…

Hey sentlovrenc, I may have missed it, but what is your wheel size and
what is your crank length? Those look seriously long and I guess you
will have many pedal hits on uneven terrain and in turning. But I bet
they’re great for hill climbing.
