That looks like a great frame, although I’d go ahead and spend a few dollars on some cotterless cranks; you WILL NOT regret it! Here is a good pair and it’s what I have on my freestyle uni. I’d go for 125s if you are learning, by the way.

Cool, i want a frame like that:D

wow. that. is. a cool. frame.

i don’t think i’ve ever really seen purple on a unicycle before.
and you made this all yourself? wow. you are one creative little bugger! (BTW, thats not a bad thing) good job. if you start selling them frames, i might just buy one.

what’d you make it from? aluminum or steel?

Re: finally!!! my own uni…

I think that you would also need a seat post as well!

it is made from a high-presure-hydraulic-pipes…they are made from steel…

and if you are wondering…it weights 1,45 kilos…

yeah…seatpost is on it’s way with a saddle…

so that translates into ~ 3.2 pounds!

that sounds pretty light for a uni… wow.

good job though, and how did you get them bearing housings? did you make them, too, or did you buy some and weld them on?

dont forget…3,2 pound has only the frame…dont forget other things that are neccessery for uni to work… i guess that everthing together will weight around 8 kilos…

about the bearing housing…they are home made…they arent made from sheet metal…they are mede with lathe from iron…and that make the whole thing a lot heavier…

well, yeah. i know that. depending on the wheelset, cranks, and saddle you chose, it could be a pretty light uni!

be careful with those pedals, they can do a number to your legs.
