(Inspired by Christopher Grove’s new but probably temporary nic)
I rode an eccentric unicycle this weekend, never tried one before. It did
not seem difficult beforehand and it wasn’t. I rode it for about half an
hour. Then I immediately went back to my own regular 24". Boy was it
strange! I was almost sure that something was wrong with it!
I think that over that half hour I had developed a motor engram (yes this
group taught me a new word), which apparently sort of compensated for the
oneven force required on the eccentric wheel. However, it worked
counterproductive on my normal wheel. Funny experience.

Same thing happened to me a couple of weeks ago but without any good
explanation… I went out a night and it was very hard to ride my uni. I
was sure that something had changed on it… One week later, everything
was ok… Very strange too !
