Today my friend Zaro posted his “first one to 360º unispin in Brazil” thread and I was surprised with some guy who thought that having a computer in Brazil is such a privilege… Do you guys in europe and U.S. REALLY think that? Don`t you know that Sao Paulo is one of the 5 greatest cities in the world and things here are pretty like in any other place but very (and i mean very) very hot?
Im not saying things are great here and we dont have poverty and all the f#!*#d up problems that we actually do. but, like in most places, the majority of the population, the middle class, is just like any other middle class.

I think Brazil is really cool and want to take a trip down there when I have some time and extra cash. I haven’t spoken portuguese in some 10 years, so that’ll be a bit rough.
However, I’ve said this for a long time, Brazil has quite possibly some of the most attractive people in the world. It’s uncanny.

This is hardly fair, I know you are asking what people think but I think its unfair to take one persons views and believe they are everyones. The person who posted was 12 and I dont think he ment it to sound like it did. I have read it through and I dont think he would have ment it like that.

I dont think brazil is lame at all, and if anyone really does think it is lame here, think of this. People unicycle in brazil, Unicycling = cool, Brazil = cool, Trials = cool, Street = cool. People in brazil riding trials and doing street = MONGO COOL!!! (theres probably lots of great muni there too, but i just focused on the recent threads that are up here)
If i makes you feel any better, the Simpsons take the pss out of pretty much everyone. France, Australia and Albania are some examples I can think of. But since every single episode of the Simpsons is basically taking the pss out of the USA, it’s really not that bad.
I think Brazil seems like a cool place, I’d like to go there one day but it’s pretty far away so who knows if I ever will manage to. In the meantime I just hope that the Brazilian football team don’t knock England out of the world cup like last time!
