does anyone know how to uni and juggle?

I can Juggle like breathing and if I practice unicycling for a little longer then I will able to do that like breathing. but then the thing is… I can’t breathe twice at once. do you get what I’m saying? Well I am a quick learner so I will try my best.

You might speak to a musician about circular breathing- might help.

I hope you don’t breath like you cycle- hate to think of you twisting an ankle or skining your shins just to take a breath.

(Realy though, on subject: Jeff Lutkus would be the guy to ask… he’s the cross traing monster. Just don’t mention clowns.)

Practice riding with your arms crossed, or on your side (basically so long
as you don’t flail them around at all). Once you’ve mastered that, adding
juggling to riding is easy. Juggling wile riding forward is a lot easier
to learn than juggling while idling (though, it impresses audiences more).

Can you walk while chewing gum? This is really the same thing.

thank you. I am glad you don’t consider yourself a “clown” shudder I consider myself an entertainer not a clown. I think it might take me a while to get my arms no to fly around while I ride but I am getting better every time I ride. and yes I can chew gum while I am walking and all my friends think I am amazing because I can read while walking!!! should I learn to juggle clubs, balls, or rings on a unicycle after I learn not to fling my arms around?

All you have to do is get each skill to where it only requires half
your breath!

Generally, people who are strong jugglers will have trouble with the
unicycle part, and vice-versa. Juggling while riding in a straight line is
fairly easy. Turning is a little harder, and juggling while idling takes a
bunch more practice.

Get comfortable riding, then get comfortable riding without using your
arms, and you’ll be most of the way there.

Definitely start with balls. It’s a lot easier to toss bean bags around than fling clubs or rings around. Once you get good at balls then move on to the harder stuff just like anything else.

My brother and I are working on passing with balls while idling…you never know where a little practice may take you…keep it up ! ! !

Happy New Year (in a few) everybody ! ! !

Certainly. As soon as you feel your arms can remain still enough to give
juggling a try, try it. Even if your arms do flail around too much, the
process of learning to juggle will eliminate it. Just don’t use your best
set of clubs, as you will be dropping a lot more than when you’re not on a
unicycle… at least while you’re learning.

And when you’ve gotten good at juggling while riding forward, it’s time to
start trying while idling.

I say, start with what you’re most comfortable with. If you’re new to
juggling, then by all means, balls are it. I spend most of my time
juggling clubs. Because of that, I find them a lot easier to juggle in odd
situations (on a unicycle, while running down the street, etc.)

Ack… passing balls while idling, that sounds tough (to me). I can pass
clubs while idling, but I find balls much harder to catch on account of
their size.

I’m not a juggler to speak of, but from what I’ve seen others doing, if
you can do just one of clubs, balls and rings, you’re essentially there
for the other two as well.
