I was looking through the control panel and I wondered how many people use the ignore list feature. I’ve only used it once to see how it worked on someone who got banned shortly after.
I’m not asking for you to name names (though that’s up to you) I was just pondering on usage.
I’ve just thought that if I’m currently in someone’s ignore list they won’t read this so to them 
I did a while back when there were a lot of duff posts from the same few people. It worked OK.

Yes, I do quite a bit, although I usually read the posts of the people on my list anyway.
Wow, I remember that insult, among many, from Harper like it was yesterday. Hard to imagine it’s been over two years. 
A while back I would have liked an uber-ignore list that erased all traces of someone’s posts rather than just taking up loads of space to tell me I’m ignoring them. “I know! That’s why I put them there in the first place!”…

I love the Ignore list. I’ve filled up all my available slots.
Sometimes I’ll open a thread and find 6 or 7 posts in a row are all from people on my Ignore list. Although also quite often, it’s just the same one person posting six times in a row.

I remeber when I was on John Childs’ ignore list, because he found my small animated avatar distracting.
wasn’t it because you and ObiWan made the world’s most annoying signatures, in protest to Gilby banning images in signatures? I know he also blocked you then, at least…
but no, I’ve never used the ignore lists. I did once on Logan_A. to see how it worked, and it was even more annoying than the actual Logan_A…

At the time and date indicated, although ignored by someone, I was offline, computer off, and putting my cycling shorts on (actually, a good time to ignore me) to Coker home.
Obie and I got ignored tons for that, but JC ignored me because he thought my animated avatar was too distracting to make it possible to read my posts.

hehe, those long sigs were fun, weren’t they? I kinda miss 'em. don’t know why people were so annoyed, I liked having an entire novel about scrapple on every single thread…

I can ignore posts quite nicely all by myself. I don’t need help from the computer.
There are times, usually after posting something very silly, that indeed, I would like to be on everyone’s ignore list.
We do need an “Ignore post that piss me off” button.
I often catch myself typing a post that’d cause an uproar.
I’m thankful I catch myself for not osting some of it.
I used the ignore feature one time on someone who had an animated avatar that I felt was offensive and in bad taste. I did not want to look at it. Now this person has an animated avatar that I think is very clever.
I’m not currently ignoring anyone.
Well that’s a list I hoped I’d never be on.
