Daredevils video now in the gallery

I’ve uploaded the Daredevils show featuring Will Stevens and a load of others riding Mount Snowdon. Currently there is only a small (5.76MB) version, I’ll upload a large one (44.3MB) when I have more time. They are encoded with XviD.

Can you page slap us with the link?

My guess is this is the page:

That was fantastic! I was very impressed by that hop up to the rail in the skate park. Actually, it was all impressive. Every unicycling video needs some rail riding in it.

It seems like I am always having to download something new to be able to watch a video. I went to Xvid and downloaded the codec, and still when I play the video I get to watch ambiance.

Excellent! I’m just glad to see I’m not the only one having to push the thing up before riding it down! :stuck_out_tongue:

Cool video.

For a bit of trivia, XviD is DivX backwards. They’re having a little fun with the name of their software project.

I was able to play the video using Koepi’s compile of XviD. Nic’s version didn’t work properly for me.

You can download Koepi’s binary for XviD here

There are some mirror sites listed here

Koepi’s install program will ask if you want to let XviD “Decode all supported FourCCs (DivX, DX50, MP4V)”. I’m not comfortable letting it take over my DivX decoding so I unchecked that option. It’s probably best to just let XviD have the XviD video and leave the rest the way they are.

I thought the video was neat too - except I am wondering why they show so many wrecks in the off-road section.

I’ve uploaded the large (44.3MB) version to the gallery.

Enjoy.

Thanks Gary. You’re helping me to make good use of my new broadband
connection

I was a little surprised to see Will demonstrating mounts with shoelaces
apparently dangling loose.

And in the Good Morning clip I was surprised at just how old Judy
Finnigan looks now. I suppose I shouldn’t have been, she wasn’t looking
all that young when I last saw Good Morning (probably about 8 or 9 years
ago).
