Custom Nimbus's

paint wha?

I think he was refering to the seat not the frame.

Aren’t you going to paint your uni or are you going to leave it wrapped in tape?

Im Leaving it Taped for the moment, its in Surgery.

Recently overhauled 24":

Fresh powdercoat on the frame and seatpost.

New Odyssey Twisted PC pedals in white.

Seatpost clamp found at a swap meet to match the original rim.

Waiting on a fresh KH saddle with red trim to complete the look. The stock Nimbus red saddle matched better, but the comfort level of the KH has higher sway over looks for now.

Ok… I know the frames Qu-ax, but its pretty much all Nimbus now!

Qu-ax 36" frame
Nimbus Nightrider tyre
Nimbus Stealth rim
Prowheel 127mm cranks

Nimbus Pearl

Ok here is my first customized cycle - I know it is a mix of KH & Nimbus parts. I powdercoated it my self and really enjoyed making this one.

We made two of them and plan to make other designs… Check out the shop for more. Unicycle.com Canada

That is da bomb, how did you powder coat it?

Hey! I posted not too long ago, but I got a few new parts…

Animal Pc Pedals.
Nimbus X street frame.

Timeline

Hey thanks - we set up a powder coating work station in the work shop. It takes a bit of work to get it all going, and it is a bit messy but really fun.

Tomarrow I am going to post 2 more that we have finished today.

Hey thats awesome, I’m getting one at the end of november!

Sweet Émile…

I already posted a few items up, but I’ve updated.

Nice red KH Freeride Fusion saddle arrived in the mail yesterday. (Thanks, Bedford!)

I find that it goes quite nicely with the red on the pedals, rim, and seatpost clamp.

The frame and seatpost have both recently been powdercoated.

Today I got my Nimbus 16" Trials from NZ
Upgraded Nimbus ISIS hub
Quax 114 cranks
Red Nimbus gel saddle

nimbus street
kh cranks
s&m pedal
the seats as custom as it comes

hahahaha

That is the coolest seat I’ve ever seen.

How did you make that?

im guessing

  1. go to a fabric store
  2. pick out any funky style of fabric
  3. figure out the pattern of the original cover (maybe take it apart to copy it)
  4. cut fabric to pieces of pattern
  5. sew together!

Pretty cool saddle, though I definately would not ride around with it:).

Would you have to sew it if it’s just one shape?? which it looks like but I can’t tell

To me it looks like someone spent some serious time using an old seat cover as a pattern, cutting each piece to match, then sewed it all together for a very nice fit. I guess it is “one shape”… the shape of a seat!
