Hmm, boy am I glad I Have a Triton Sponge.
Not everyone has a K1 sponsored rider living in his town, so cut us some slack

Thats a good frame for right handed SIF trials, because your tire will be far from you when you hop
But nice job.
Looks to me that Benjamin hasn’t tested (or let it tested) the first version good enough.

ive just put the seat cover over my k1 seat and i think it looks kinda cool. i wish koxx would make their seats into removable seat covers cos they have some cool seats but i dont see the point buying a whole new seat
looks good Grape
Scott when are u gona upload some pics of your chromed seatclamp?
when ive done the cranks as well, but i cant afford it just yet its £25 a crank so i im goin to paint them instead
loooks like u need a new hub and hardware by the look of that rust…ickkk
A little bit of surface rust isn’t really anything to worry too much about.
how do the tensiles fit on that hub? Is the fit good? Was thinking of getting a similar setup… might go for the koxx light isis instead though.
And the koxx hubs rust there, it’s only a bit of surface rust nothing to worry about. Mine’s got it too, abit less but i don’t leave it outside often…
The tensiles went on with a bit of effort, but they do go onto the hub fully. Although I had to use an old seatpost as a torque bar to get the cranks to go on the last 5mm or so.
Yeah, i know that the bit of surface rust isn’t a problem. I mean unidudeDX pointed it out, and he has a less than stellar reputation for good posts.
I love that Uni, it looks nice how u put the orange bud stickers on it too. Must be nice to ride on around Halloween… lol
A orange KH seat would make it look nicer i think…
that looks really awesome!
just wondering, but why did you choose the trials cranks over the street?
Because I wanted the straight cranks (no offset) and the 125mm length. Also because no one has used street cranks they want to give up. These are Spencer’s old cranks, I got them by helping him make his new website: http://uniflatland.com/.
I love this wheel, it spins and flips so fast even though one of the bearings is basically dead - the hub/bearings and cranks are used but everything else is new. Its amazing what a bit of medium grit emery cloth can do to some beat up old cranks. This wheel is the reason I was trying to find used ISIS hubs a while back.
This wheel is the perfect mix between a BMX wheel and Trials wheel.
Be on the lookout for some street freestyle.
So sexy. I knew I was gonna be jealous after bringing up that sweat tire.
Theres a 2.00 and a 2.35, I’m running the 2.35.
