Custom built Nimbus Hatchets, unique hydro Dip Paint Jobs

Like the colour and paint job (and handle bar tape, and pedals, and even brake caliper) a lot, but the red Hatchet stickers don‘t match well, in my view. Same for the mud guard; the blue is just too light.

@Wheelou agreed and spot on :+1:,I dont like the red in the stickers either, it looked better without, so likley they will come off. Same for the mudguard for summer, although in winter, it is functional, I ride alot of gravel paths n trails, and its heavy grey clay around me and the crux duro tyre picks up the clay, the wrong sized stones and debris for a pass tiime. At the moment the mudguard is holding the new brake hose down until it holds its shape ,and stays out of the way.
It also saves on some cleaning and my backside stays dry

Yeah, go for it! (I have a bias for de-stickered unis anway )

With that short seat, it looks like the frame will hit the ground rather than the saddle when laid backwards, is this something on all hatchets or is it just the angle the pictures are taken from?

I always “draw a line” from the tire to the saddle, or lean it to a wall or the ground to see what will hit the ground first, usually to check the brake handle position.

In this case it is quite obvious that the frame is not exposed. The mudgard might be in the danger zone though, but it also seems to be fine unless it’s bumpy terrain (Edit: I held up a ruler and the mudgard is completely safe ).

@Uni_Jack The seat or handle hit the floor first, the Handle Saddle is pretty much the same size as a std unicycle seat, its only the seat part thats half the size. This is about the strongest handle Saddle on the market as seat and handle are one piece. So the frame never hits the ground. See piccys below. It the seat bumper, handle or pedals that take damage. So no more exposed to damage than any une :+1::grinning_face: plus I find the handle saddle seat is kinder on your man bits, the part of the saddle you actually sit on, is about the same size.

@PedalSprell, the mudguard does not make contact with the ground and it does not get in the way riding, mounting or dismounting, its quite short. It does stop me getting a wet backside though  its a cheap disposable fatbike/mtb mudguard, only plastic, held on the cable ties. If if does get damaged, cheap and easy to replace or remove
