Confusing inseam lengths

So, does anyone know the minimum inseam length for a 26" with a 200mm seat post? It seems very weird that unicycle.com says it is 28", which is the same as the 24". Especially since the minimum inseam for 27.5" is 31". It makes more sense for the minimum inseam to be 30" for the 26", though I am not sure.

Thanks in advance!

Depends on the length of the seat tube, which can vary for different models.
Depends also on the length of the cranks installed.
And to a lesser extent on the saddle thickness, though I think that most saddles I had in my hands don’t vary greatly in that regard. But once you start looking at less common models, that could play a more important role.
So, while it sounds weird, it can still perfectly make sense - depending on the specific unis you are comparing.

The wheel size does not really impact the inseam requirement with the exception of very large wheels. Something that does impact it is the crank length (longer cranks=longer inseam). You can easily find the actual inseam requirement by taking the radius of the wheel + crank length + frame above the wheel and seat (which you can meassure on one of your other unicycles)

Seat tubes are also easily cut down if needed

Teacnically, inseam is largely decided by the frame length. Bearing house to top of neck. Plus crank length and some margin for the seat post. Generally, larger wheels must have longer frame. But not always. Some models have longer neck length. You would like a uni with short neck.

I would measure your inseam and send an email to one of the unicycle sellers and ask for advice or specific wheel sizes, explaining that you are willing to cut the seatpost and perhaps putting on slightly shorter cranks (if you are).

My inseam is about 26"

I have a Nimbus Hatchet and built two wheel sets. One 24 and one 29.
When i change wheel sizes the saddle height stays the same.
Inseam measurements is from the seat to the pedals.
