Coker DISASTER!

I’m betting there is someone here that can help me out…ordered a Big One from COKER in May, and arrived almost a month after ordering with the whole package dented and ripped, the accessory pack was missing and they keep passing the buck to UPS and UPS passes the buck back to COKER…I paid like $43.00 for the shipping and UPS says they refund the dealer, COKER won’t respond…now i’ve got a wheel and forks but no seat, pedals or other accessories and coker hasn’t responded for yet another month…Anyone who has any suggestions or similar problems please let me know at rwainwri@shaw.ca and maybe share some hints on how to get them to act a little bit more kindly to the the Uni enthusiasts!

Thanks,

RIchard.

Re: Coker DISASTER!

Hmm. Just the other day a mysterious box from Coker came to me with parts for
my Wheelman bike. I did get a set of bearings from them, like, MONTHS ago, but
didn’t order these things (bearing clamps and plastic hub-cover thingies).
Haven’t called yet to ask about it though. They do seem perhaps a bit
disorganized whenever I call them about something.

I made the same mistake as you, though I was luckier - they only forgot the
nuts, so I hit Home Depot. Then a couple of weeks later I got an envelope
of nuts from Coker.

The mistake we made, of course, was ordering from Coker instead of
unicycle.com. I’ll never do that again.

Try the Better Business Bureau, maybe.

RE: Coker DISASTER!

Hi Richard.

This is very unlike Coker. They’re usually outstanding on customer
service. Call 1-800-251-6336 and ask for Trevor. I’ve alerted him that
you may be calling.

Best regards,

John Drummond

For John Drummond to voluntarily involve himself in someone else’s mess is just one more reason for us to support Unicycle.com. Thanks and way to go John.

COKER Disaster turn for the best

Just got back a few emails from Trevor at COKER and looks like they are going to send out the accessory pack! Thanks to whoever it was that forwarded a msg to Trevor…I’m really happy to anticipate that the rest of my order may arrive…doesn’t solve the problems of the rebate on shipping that UPS says was going to be refunded to Coker, and rightfully back to me, but I’ll just be happy to finally see the order complete…thanks to everyone who responded on the board and and by PM to help with suggestions.
