On 10/15 I rode in the Pismo Beach Clam Festival parade with my local juggling/unicycling group. We got our pictures in the local Sunday paper and won 2nd place in our division (even without matching costumes). Besides occasional g2g (giraffe to giraffe) juggling and the usual outrageous antics of our sole professional performer, Mark Wilder, we had one go-to formation: Mark would call out “Unicycles unite!” and he and I would link hands and turn clockwise circles on our giraffes while the groundlings rode counter-clockwise circles around us.
