aargh I can only take one uni with me to chocfest and then onwards to liverpool
for a course work are sending me on… The decision was very hard to make , 20,
24, 26 or 36… The 26 Muni won out , deamed most practical for traveling light
by public transport and uni. whilst allong the way wanting to take part in a
muni ride at CHOCFEST, tomorrow folks,I’m dead excited about it. Een tho I have
to get up at 6.15am. Report on chocfest muni and stuff will folow when I have
access to a PC again at the end of next week.
Wednesday I am coming to London for a work project where I will visit 15
companies in 5 days. For reasons completely unclear to me, the company I work
for has not revealed the company names or the countries where I will be doing
these interviews. The problem? Should I bring the uni. I may be doing quite a
bit of travel on train, in taxi so I am not sure it makes senses.
Since the nature of these interviews are the three piece suit type, I am a bit
hesitant to bring the uni along if it will be a burden to my collegues. On the
other hand, I hate to go 15 days with out my unicycle.

If you ask me, the problem is not even knowing where you’re going.
I have used a 20" as an “only” unicycle on a trip like that (because I was going
to perform), but it’s lousy for getting places.
The first thing I would do if going to a unicycle-rich place like England is to
see what unicyclists I can arrange to meet. Maybe they have one you can use,
and they can introduce you to a game of hockey, pub crawling, or whatever
activity those persons are into. This would be a lot more rewarding than just
riding on your own.

We might even put a pub crawl on specially for you!

A 24 inch will fit in most train luggage bays, is resonable for taveling and yet
small enough to be discreet and hide behine reception desks in office blocks.
With a quick releae bolt on the seat post its even more versatile. My travels
with the 26 were fine , but I was staying with Muniers some of the time and kept
it in my hotel room while on this course, only taking it to the factory on the
last day as i was going from there to the station. Got a few comments… sarah

I don’t know but John Foss’ home page used to have a picture of David Ramos
riding his unicycle on the Ocean Floor. That was on the “Things not to do on a
Unicycle” section.
