Choice of Ridin' Music?? !!

hey all,
I have downloaded all the songs from the Defect album, coz i love all the songs on it :slight_smile:

but its only about 7 songs u can get, and that isnt a huge range, so i was just gonna ask wat is some good riding music u ride with, that helps boost confidence and inspiration and wat not??

and if u could add some good song titles and artists, of mostly music like wat is on the defect soundtrack?

Well i prefer the songs from universe one :P, i know one of the bands is the lillingtons so if you fancy getting some of there stuff.

well some great bands 2 listen 2 whilst riding would be

  • THe CArs, and THe POlice

  • THe AQuabats (basically any song from there “fury of the aquabats” album,iv only downloaded a few other songs from “charge!!” but there awsome)

  • THey MIght BE GIants (these guys music make for great riding music…specially “birdhouse in your soul”

  • basically almost all ska and classic rock are great for riding music

  • and another few are dropkick murphys, all american rejects, greenday, bowling for soup

theres alot more but that should get ya started and if your downloading music …you might download one song by them you dont like but try another and then you will see how awsome they are

you can go to http://www.limewire.com and get lots of free music, but I don’t know how safe the site is.

www.download.com then searh limewire and download it from there, i dont like going to the websites because they all use ad crap.’

I use uTorrent, its got a better interface than BitComet, and I’ve been using both for quite a long time now :p. If you want good music that’s free to download, I.e not illegal, I’ve found www.garageband.com to be the best place, the search feature is really good, you can search for bands that sound like popular ones, or bands with a certain style, and they also do charts of the best tracks, some of the best music I’ve ever downloaded has been from garageband.

EDIT: Instant Winner - In Words, has been at the top of the Punk chart for a while now, thats an awesome song, check it out (make sure when the player comes up you hit the ‘hi’ button to get it in higher quality).

i listen to techno rave stuff when i ride…it gets my adrenaline goin and just make s me want to try harder.

just fyi, www.bearshare.com replaced the thing that replaced the thing that killed limewire. its the best

i recommend anything by ordinary peoples, t.i., and the academy is.

I put randy newman’s hit song “youve got a friend in me” on repeat and listen to it for hours while I ride.

I listen to anything from brazilian drum and bass to japanese female hiphop to funk and all thanks to the wonders of soulseek. (makes bearshare and limewire look like decorated but empty box) if you want to get the safest version that is straight from the people that made it you can get it here http://www.slsknet.org/

or you can just buy cd’s.

umm, i listen to classical, jazz, blues, metal, techno, and tons more, just whatever you feel like listening to is good, but i personally like the techno, with the fast beats it gets me going lol

and seeing how it looks like everyone is putting what they use, program wise, i use winmx and phex =)

The offspring are a good band. They’ve got some really good tracks, like “Million Miles away,” “Racing against Myself,” “Dammit I changed again,” “Come out Swingin’” and many more.

Don’t put bear share on your computer trust me thats probly why i have so many viruses but you can use it if you want but i like listening to techno bass and stuff like that.
