CF BASE, I need help now.

Hi,

I just finished drilling my CF base and I need to know if I should keep the alluminum strip that holds the bolts in place. Can I just square out the holes in the CF BAse itself and save the alluminum strip for building another seat for my cruiser.

The CF seems like it would old the bolts in place by itself, though I may be wrong.

I am going to the store right now to get a tiny scquared file. Hope someone can answer this soon. Hate to stop now.

nope,you dont need it.just square out the carbon a little smaller than the bolt square and tap it in with a hammer.
