Hey guys! I’ve been thinking about getting a bigger wheel(I currently transport myself and ride just about everything I do on my 24" muni). I found this old chrome Nimbus 29er for a decent deal in an area I’ll be visiting soon. It has an older Kris Holm Fusion Street Saddle and moment cranks. I’m just curious if people who have been around longer know much about this era of Nimbus? Approximate year? Reputation? Features? Fun stories(I like these)?

It’s a nimbus with good components, I don’t think you can go wrong depending on the price.
similar, but it seems to have rim-brake mounts.
Isis cranks and steel frame, not much can go wrong with this.
In a worst case, budget for bearings, pedals and a tire, those are the only things that could realistically be broken.
For a riding around on the road/bikepath uni it is great, the only thing that something more modern may get you is the option of a disk brake. But a good set of maguras is decent, should you want brakes.
