and i wanted to no how i tranfer the film to my PC. Can i use usb?

Thats a miniDV tape that it uses.

Youll need to have a firewire card in your comp, then jsut use a firecable to plug into the camera to your comp, and youl get the video and audio with no quality deduction.

I can only use my laptop:( i cant get a firewire port for this. Is there no way i can use usb?

I know that my usb can only take images and video from the meory card in my camcorder.

The camcorder that i was looking for was miniDV. will i be able to use usb to transfer the video onto my laptop.

Only if your recording video using the memory card it has.

For Dv you have to use the I.Link/DV out/Firewire.

so miniDV is not a good idea for me . its best to find one with a memory card so that i can use USB?
