It would of taken less time to google this than post your question on a uni forum.
No Idea.
I bought mine in Japan.
an 8 gb. would cost around 199$ and an 30 gb. would cost aroind 250$ but you better get them qquick cause there a re new ipods comeing outā¦unless thats what you watn to getā¦but yea you better get a 30 gb. quick cause they dont tmake 30 gb anymoreā¦
My local bestbuy has the new ones out already, I would recomend just getting one of the new ones, ipod classic because it holds alot of stuff and it is relativly cheap.
I would recommend an Archos 404 instead of a regular iPod, itās cheaper, has a larger screen, holds the same 30gb, and plays videos, as well as view pictures.
Plus the brushed metal finish I think looks nicer than an iPod with fingerprints all over it.
I think the 8g nanos play videos now, dont they?
an 8gb is about $250 and a 30gb is going to be about $300 depending where u go.(trust me i used to obsesed with ipods until i got mine 2 yrs later.)
Donāt use the search feature. Use your brain and some logic.

Also keep in mind that if you do decide to get an ipod, you will have to get itunes as well. Thatās not bad, but in order to load your ipod, you HAVE to use itunes. There is really no way around it. Itunes will make another copy of your music for its format. Unless you get rid of it once you load it, you will have two copies of the same song on your hard drive, which will eat the space way fast.
Arrg!
Incorrect.
It only makes a copy if you check, āCopy files into iTunes Music Folderā in the preferences. Itās right next to āKeep iTunes Music Folder Organziedā. And it doesnāt change the format when it copies it unless you tell it to change the format.
Personally I like that iTunes keeps all of the files neatly organized and readily accessible.
So thatās really a silly thing to hold against the software or apple. There are other valid criticism to be made but yours is not one of them.
Most people that like to rant against apple do so mostly out of spite.
I say go creative or Zune. A bunch of people use them and love them. They really are great and much cheaper than an I-pod. I have only heard good things about both, but have only used a creative personally. So if you want a zune do your research! The battery on I-pods is quite terrible and cost a nice dent to replace.

Same price thousands of songs in difference.
How much for a 160 GB Zune?
Either they make one and I donāt know about it orā¦ Your relating a companies ability to make mp3 players with way to much space to quality or something like thatā¦
Why would you want to pay $250 for an older 30g ipod, when you can pay the same price and get one that holds 80g? Or maybe iām wrong.
Why would you buy an iPod? Theyāre unreliable.
I second the earlier vote for a Creative, my friend has one and Iāve heard good things about them. Dunno about Zune reviews or not.
No Iām curious. Apple currently makes a 160GB iPod so that sells for $349. So I was asking what the equivalent Zune would cost.
You were comparing a 30GB Zune to an 8GB iPod Nano, and your argument was taht the Zune is better because itās a bigger capacity for the same price. But the iPod nano is flashed based, and the Zune is HDD based. So they really arenāt comparable but you were trying to make that comparison. If Zune also made a HDD based 160GB MP3 player than we could compare similar products and use price as a consideration.
That is why I was curious how much the 160GB Zune costs. If it doesnāt exist than we canāt really directly compare Zunes and iPods to determine which is better. So the point of trying to say, āIn your face apple, Zune is better.ā is moot.
