BUC 2009 - british unicycle convention

I can’t wait for BUC,

Edd and Mr BoogieJuice, check your PMs, im thinking about spending a little longer down south

Sam- can I put you down to do an ultimate wheel workshop? you can ride one?

Amanda - day tickets-possibly- but don’t know cost yet. will not include any food or camping. If you want to be there both sat & sun a weekend ticket will be best value.

Yes I say bring them, I’m a big fan of your creations. The wheel walking one with the brake might be of interest to some people too.

BUC 16 registration is now open for business.

Please do us and you a favour and pre reg. Pre reging ensures you will get fed at the convention. With out people pre registering there will be no money to buy screws and lumber for the trials course.
T-shirts are avaible to pre order only, all sizes from 3-4 yr old up to XXL.

What if we want to pre-reg more than one person at a time?
I will pre-reg after payday, its a little more expensive than normal.

To pre reg more than one person, fill in more than one form. each will generate its own e-mail. use the surnames of those people as the reference on your bank transfer OR send a cheque.

No camping? Where are you going to stay after the party?

Hey guys, well looking forward to this, it’s been ages since I’ve seen anyone from here! I’ll register soon like too.

Amanda, you not staying for long? I hope to see all the British riders for this one, and hopefully some riders from abroad too!

Cheers.

i’ll may be come with some friends, i’m discussing it with them…

Amanda
I guess you will need to a non rider day time only on the door ticket.
Can’t tell you how much that will be yet. Have to charge you something so your covered by insurance etc and saturday afternoon/evening you will be getting some good spectator stuff - freestyle and video comps.

REMINDER
Accompanying Adults DO need to register and pay if they wish to benefit from catering and camping and be covered by the event insurance. Non riding parents are priced the same as youth riders.

That will be Lucas and 4 cans of Stella? :stuck_out_tongue:

BUC16 up-date

Thanks to the lovely people from JUST , BUC16 will be welcoming Trials and Muni star David Weichenberger from Austria as a special guest. David is on the KH factory team , is world down hill and northshore champion and placed just below the UKs own Joe Hodges in trials at Unicon last year.
It will be great to have his input on the trials and street comps and workshops.

Day tickets- for those who have been asking about them. After pre reg closes the only tickets you will be able to buy will be day tickets at the cost of
Adult rider £20 per day
Youth Rider £15 per day
Child rider £10 per day
Accompanying adult ( non rider) £5 per day.

Day tickets DO NOT include any food so we would encourage you to buy a weekend ticket even if your only going to be around in the day time or are going to have to go a bit early or want to stay in a B&B or at home. The meal times at BUC are a big social thing and the time table is built around them, if you are having to leave site to get food from else where you will miss out on stuff.

T-shirts - to be sure of A T-shirt in your size please pre order. Last T-shirt order will be on 5th April.

Minor up date.
Pre Reg Closes on April 1st.

Please pre reg sooner rather than later. Your convention needs you.

Thanks for the reminder, will try and complete this w/e. Time goes quickly :astonished:

Oh yes- time is ticking away. Only 3 weeks left to pre reg for BUC16. Only pre reg tickets have Catering included.

Great News Amanda- would you be interested in being on the judgeing team for freestyle?

If any one is waiting tillpayday att eh end of teh month to pre reg… AS pre reg shuts on 1st April you may like to do teh on line form BEFORE pay day and send us teh payment AFter payday.

Its a huge help to our team to have some idea of who is coming BEFORE the end of pre reg.
If no one wants to enter the video comp we won’t hire a projector for example.

Wrist guards for street???

You guys really have no idea how hard that would make tricks.

This is not a particularly new requirement, it is in the IUF rulebook and was therefore required at the last Unicon.

Considering Unicon is coming over to you I’d recommend having a quick practice with gloves :stuck_out_tongue:
