The original … made in 1964.
I knew one of the designers, who made them for skii workout in off season. (I was a kid then, he’s pasted away now)
I made a small vid of me playing (lightly) on it. 15mb
(to bad our gallery doesnt work)

I saw some guys at North Ave beach one day playing on some of these …
They told me they bought the copywrites.
We exchanged cards … I bought this one…
(seems they moved from Chicago to Austrailia)
interesting…
Is that much (or any) different from a standard Rolla-Bolla?
ie. a plank of wood on a roller.
In which case, 1 minute isn’t really very special is it?
lol , yea, once you learned it it’s no issue.
BUT, it’s fun to watch your friends send the board into the wall or major appliances when you take it to thier house
My little video has me doing 3 little 90^ midair turns in 30 seconds.
I used to be able to do a complete 180 and land on the board perfectly (no board spin from inertia)
(I’m practicing again thou)
I even used to do a half hand stand on it.
(never was able to extend my feet up and stay stable)
You can hurt yourself on these also (badly)
(The “Indy” has a disclaimer on it’s top.)
So, be warned
I had a homemade one of those in my pre-unicycle days. It consisted of an approriately sized piece of lumber and a large, very sturdy glass pickle jar. It took about two hours to learn and was a lot of fun. I could juggle while rocking on it pretty easily, but I couldn’t think of anything else to do on it. The motion is actually quite similar to idling on a unicycle. Surprisingly, the board broke before the glass jar.
