has anyone heard of blingo.com, it’s jsut a search engine that uses the google engine but allows you to occasionally win prizes. I jsut won a free movie ticket. It seems like a scam but this place really is no strings attached.

From Blingo’s Terms of Service:
“We do not encourage you to send email to people you do not know (i.e., spam) or to post your Blingo Friends link in Internet communities where it may be considered a “spam” posting by members of that community”
My guess is this service will disappear just like the other 1,000,001 useless dot-bombs that have blinked but once in the night sky. Google can sell their own advertising without giving free stuff away. Blingo is just a Google parasite… meh.
When you post links you should tell people that it’s an affiliation link.
Sweet, I use Google around 10+ times perday, Gmail, Picasa, Gmail Drive, GoogleMaps… and now, Blingo, Thanks!

That is an overstatement, because on the blingo website it says “you must live in the United States”. Other than that it looks OK.
