Slipknot is permanently in my break and throw the peices at morons list. I abhor them.
However, I enjoy a little bit of BEP, and some of Skindred.

i found vol 3 in a dumpster… and only like 3 songs play, but they arent bad, but i got an older cd and its a lot heavier, i like that… but sometimes chill is good to, but im leaning toward the older stuff

I used to be a huge slipknot fan… vol 3 sucked some major nut. iowa is their best in in my opinion with slipknot in a close second… but they wwere like the first scream band i liked, but once you outgrow them and get more into the deatch/scream metal you relize that slipknot aint so good. and this seems to hapen to quite a few people i know… slipknot is like the gateway drug of scream bands i think… i mean i still enjoy them… but id take some lamb of god and day

they do sing actually, not very often but they do, well corey does…he’s also the frontman for Stonesour, his original band and Slipknot’s rival in their rise to fame… Corey sing most of all the songs on their cd and if you haven’t heard of them, you’ve heard their song bother on the radio…
yeah corey is a badass singer he has a lot of talent and hes an exellent guiatrist… he has a song on the spiderman 2 soundtrack called bother… check it out… its really aweosme

why dont we talk about bands that actually play music, haha I dont understand the whole slipknot/screaming not singing thing, anyone can scream like that if theyre angry, it just takes someone with real problems to do it all the time.
if you were from DesMoines you’d be pretty pissed all the time too. but seriously, if you don’t like slipknot fine. they’re a bit hard to listen to. If you can respect them as musicians, especially the drumming, SHUT UP. yep. slipknot is a pretty good metal band. my favorite song is “wait and bleed”

that’s bs, try it and tell me you can scream like that, try and do it for three albums none the less…the only weak part about slipknot is the percussionists, they really do nothing but add character…Joey kicks and mick’s a monster…
the 2 “extra” drummers are a bit weak, and corey does in fact sing on a number of tracks. all around thought they’re pretty solid. and total monsters live.
