I always suspected that John was a bot. They’ve tuned their Markov text generator amazingly well. The first 14000+ posts were obviously a test. Now they’re ready to add links to some Vietnamese site in his signature.
My god that climb (third pic) is a lot steeper than it looked in the video. 
Yeah the video depicts the steepness more accurately, but it sure feels as steep as it looks in the pic!
