Benefits of unicycling?

I am wondering if anyone here has ever seen a study about the benefits of unicycling in relations to exercise? I just got a 36" Nimbus after many years (about 40) of not riding and noticed that my core muscle seem to get quite a workout in a matter of minutes.

I am interested in what others have noticed in health changes from riding a unicycle.
