According to all indications, attendance to UNICON X will be much higher than
expected. Reports from Japan, Hong Kong, USA, Puerto Rico, Europe, etc. indicate
that there might be about twice the per country attendees that had been
estimated. This is not surprising considering all the efforts being made.
I am wondering about the riders from Australia and New Zealand. It might be
easier for you if you channel the applications through one person.
What do you say Julian Orbach? Any volunteers from NZ? This is a great chance to
meet personally lots of the friends you have met through the Net.

Things are “soooOO bad” in NZ
That… the sheep are wearing the gumboots
… There are 3 or 4 Kiwi’s interested I know of but sadly the cow to
plane ticket ratio is against us
Personally I haven’t given up but have some family stuff which has me well
distracted…we’ll see?
Cheers Harold

Unfortunately Australia’s “third world” economy will not allow for our unicycle
riders to travel overseas.
Here a semcycle costs 5 goats. I am saving up for a Coker (2 cows). Until then I
will have to be content with my cheap taiwanese uni that I picked up at a garage
sale for 4 chickens.
Where I live (in Queensland) the accepted currency also includes XXXX beer.
I have heard that the national currency for New Zealand is sheep, but I cannot
verify this.
Do you know how many cows it costs to buy a plane ticket?
